It's Still All Good!

I just got back from my trip to Houston and IT'S ALL GOOD! My doc said there is no evidence that the tumors are growing again, so we just continue with our current routine of medication and LOTS OF PRAYER - thanks so much to all of you prayer warriors out there!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of serving on another Emmaus Walk and there are simply no words to express how blessed I feel. I spent the entire weekend surrounded by the love of Jesus and about a hundred of my sisters-in-Christ and it was absolutely awesome!

We have some exciting news about Faron - he started a new job in January and he loves it! Whooo-hooo! The only problem is that it is in Houston, but that is a temporary situation. The company bought a barge for Corpus, so he should be back here before too long. He will be selling marine fuel after basically going through boot camp. When he isn't actually working he is studying. We bought a used travel trailer for him to live in about 10 minutes from the office - at least he doesn't have to fight traffic to and from work. He drives home every weekend and will continue to do so until Connor and I are through with basketball (Connor) and soccer (me). At that point he'll either be home or we'll go to Houston.

The whole situation is hard on Connor who misses his dad terribly, but pretty soon this will be behind us and Faron will be rocking and rolling down here. This is a wonderful opportunity for him and we are truly grateful.

I just wanted to do a quick update and let everyone know that it's all still good and I am grateful that God has chosen to answer our prayers. Thank you all so much for all your love and support. To my new sisters...De Colores! Love you all! Kelli

Your picture is absolutely glamorous...being brunette becomes you. I hope Connor has fun playing basketball, you and your soccer team don't freeze, and Faron becomes company president. With love,
